Franz Morat Group at SPS 2022 with a new booth setup

SPS – Smart Production Solutions, the leading trade show for smart and digital automation, is finally making a comeback in Nuremberg from November 8–10, 2022, following a two-year hiatus. The Franz Morat Group will be in a new location with a new booth setup. We are really looking forward to meeting you at Booth 350 in Hall 1.

The big innovation we’ll have with us is our high-transmission speeroX gear set, which features gearing relocated to the flat side of the wheel. This achieves spiral gearing that takes up less installation space. The resulting kinematic conditions are favorable in terms of reducing the sliding components and thus the friction. Nevertheless, the gearing remains quiet thanks to the high overlap and sliding engagement and features a high degree of efficiency. Low-wear steel/steel pairing both increases the power density and ensures a long service life.

If you’d like to learn more about speeroX, check out the SPS presentation program. We’re featured in it with the topic “speeroX – the gear set for high performance in a small installation space.” What are the conventional gear solutions? What is speeroX, and when does it top these conventional solutions? This will be the subject of a presentation given by gear technology expert Bastian Gloeden on the second day of the trade show, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 4:15–4:35 p.m. at Booth 260 in Hall 5. (presentation program)

We’ll also be presenting a selection of successful drive projects in our logistics section with a demo area. These projects are based on our NG250 and NG500 platform hub gearboxes or the highly integrated wheel hub drive, which combines all functional elements such as the wheel, planetary gear, electric motor, brake, and electronics into one all-inclusive solution. Our comprehensive range of intralogistics solutions is brought full circle by geared drive shafts for electric industrial trucks, planetary gears for conveyor technology, and the drive unit for pallet stackers that is based on speeroX gearing and built to customer requirements.

This is not all, however. You can expect a number of innovative gear components and drive systems that are used in a variety of industries, including mechanical engineering, medical and rehabilitation technology, and automotive. As Morat Swoboda Motion, the joint venture between Franz Morat Group and Swoboda, we’ll also have with us a selection of drive solutions for electromobility. This includes the ultra-compact tube drive for e-bikes, integrated right into the bicycle frame.

Have we sparked your interest? We look forward to seeing you at Booth 350 in Hall 1. Feel free to arrange an appointment with our exhibition team in advance:
