The Franz Morat Group will be exhibiting at sps – smart production solutions – from November 23 – 25, 2021 in Nuremberg with a new booth. The sps represents the complete spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from the feasible of today to the vision of a comprehensively digitized industrial world.
At our newly designed booth 350 in Hall 1, we will present innovative gear components and drive solutions for use in a wide range of industries – whether intralogistics, automotive & e-mobility or medical & rehabilitation equipment technology.
As a trade fair innovation, we have our new speeroX wheel set in our luggage, with which high gear ratios and a power flow around the corner can be achieved in just one step. In the right application, for example when only one direction of rotation is required, the speeroX gear set beats conventional multi-stage gears in terms of the gear ratio. It is quiet and features high efficiency with a long service life. Compared to single-stage gears, the speeroX gear set impresses with its compact design, which is achieved through the advantageous arrangement of the wheel and worm. It also creates favorable kinematic conditions that reduce the friction. The gearing is nevertheless still quiet thanks to the high proportion of sliding parts. A special wear-free steel/steel pairing withstands the high proportion of sliding parts and increases the service life

In addition, we are presenting our new, highly integrated wheel hub drive for automated guided vehicle systems (AGV) to the public for the first time, which combines all functional elements such as wheel, plane-tary gear, electric motor as well as brake and electronics in one all-inclusive solution. This modular and scalable system boasts high performance in a compact design and lets users make adaptations to the load capacity, torque, interfaces, sensor system and control profiles. Our full range for intralogistics is completed by the NG250 and NG500 platform hub gears, toothed drive shafts for electric industrial trucks, planetary gears for conveyor technology or the customized safety gate drive for high-bay warehouses.
Under the flag of Morat Swoboda Motion, the joint venture between the Franz Morat Group and Swoboda, we will present you as a further trade fair highlight the tube drive for e-bikes that is integrated into the bicycle frame and which, thanks to its slim design, has a gear diameter of 46 mm. The two-stage hybrid planetary drive contributes to improved NVH performance. Though the planetary carrier and a gearbox housing made of aluminum, it is possible to reduce the weight and temperature development simultaneously. The torque is transmitted to the crankshaft by a crown gear set. This means that no axial adjustment of the pinion is necessary, which results in outstanding reliability in the assembly process.
