Framo Morat, Inc. moves into new company building in Duluth, Georgia

Framo Morat, Inc. has relocated its sales office to Duluth, GA and moved into a 700 m² area of a modern building complex. The new business premises are divided into approx. 250 m² of office space, 100 m² for repair & service and 350 m² for warehousing and logistics.

Duluth is located in the Atlanta metropolitan area, which is already home to numerous well-known global companies, including those in the automotive sector. The new location offers advantages due to its proximity to Atlanta International Airport and access to the two ports of Port of Savannah and Port of Brunswick. This results in shorter distances to customers and prospects as well as accelerated logistics and delivery processes. In terms of recruiting new employees, Duluth also offers excellent opportunities for further growth with numerous universities.

After several years of successful cooperation with representatives and sales partners in the USA, the foundation of Framo Morat, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM in 2014 initiated the expansion of the internationalization of the Franz Morat Group, which has been continuously expanded to date. Thus, in addition to the German headquarters in Eisenbach and the office in the USA, the Franz Morat Group operates a sales company in Turkey as well as production facilities in Poland and Mexico.

Initially, the core business of the US division was drive technology. This was quickly followed by orders in the areas of gear technology and worm gear sets as well as completely customer-specific development projects for global players from a wide range of industries. Today, the product portfolio ranges from drive systems for curved stair lifts and gate drives for safety locks in fully automated high-bay warehouses to gear motors that open and close the lids of vacuum chambers in the semiconductor industry.
